Hello! I’m Jenna Nielsen, LCSW, and I’m so glad you’re here. I know that life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. With over a decade of experience as a mental health therapist, I’m here to provide a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida, and since then, my passion has been helping people overcome challenges and build fulfilling lives.

Outside of therapy, I love exploring new places, hiking beautiful trails, and going for a run to clear my mind. I’m also a huge sports fan—you’ll often find me cheering (maybe a little too enthusiastically) for my favorite teams. And just for fun—if there’s a good donut nearby, I’ll probably be the first in line!

Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about working together to find what truly works for you. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for a change, I’d love to help you navigate this journey with understanding and practical strategies. Let’s take that first step together!

Areas of Expertise

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)

Living with ADHD can feel frustrating and overwhelming, but you’re not alone. I help adults develop strategies to improve focus, manage impulsivity, and boost self-confidence. Together, we’ll find practical ways to navigate daily challenges so you can thrive.

Sports Performance

Success in sports isn’t just about physical skill—it’s also about mental strength. I work with athletes to enhance focus, build confidence, and manage performance-related stress. Whether you’re preparing for competition or working through mental blocks, I’ll help you develop the mindset to perform at your best.

PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

If you’ve experienced trauma, healing can feel like an uphill battle. I provide trauma-informed care in a safe, supportive space where you can process your experiences and build resilience. Using evidence-based techniques, we’ll work together to help you move forward and reclaim your life.

Relationship Conflict

Struggles in relationships can be stressful, but effective communication and conflict resolution can make a huge difference. Whether you’re facing challenges with a partner, family member, or friend, I provide guidance to improve communication, strengthen connections, and create healthier relationship patterns.

Anxiety

Anxiety can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to control your life. I help clients manage anxiety by teaching proven coping techniques, stress reduction strategies, and, when needed, exposure therapy to gradually overcome fears. Together, we’ll work on finding calm and confidence in your daily life.

Depression

Depression can make even the smallest tasks feel exhausting. Through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify and shift negative thought patterns, regain energy, and rediscover joy. You don’t have to navigate this alone—I’m here to support you.

Stress Management

Life can be stressful, but it shouldn’t feel unmanageable. I teach practical techniques to help you handle stress in healthy ways, regain balance, and improve overall well-being. Let’s work together to create a life that feels more in control and fulfilling.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to help. Let’s find the best path forward together.
